Shorouk Institute for Development and Intellectual Studies is a non-profit, private intellectual institution. The institute seeks to achieve sustainable development in society by enhancing understanding and intellectual awareness and directing efforts towards achieving comprehensive progress. The Shorouk Institute for Development and Intellectual Studies is one of the leading institutes in the field of intellectual research and analysis of Islamic and political movements in Somalia. The Institute was established for the purpose of studying and promoting a deep understanding of the Somali Islamic and political heritage, and to shed light on the intellectual and cultural aspect of the Islamic and political movements.
